life is not a paragraph.

I am currently working on some typography stuff and I was reading about Tex in the Tex book by Donald Knuth. And one of the epigrams said ....

for life's not a paragraph

And death I think is no parenthesis.

This was good stuff ... i like these two lines and wanted to look for more. I found a complete poem by E.E Cummings titled "Since feeling is first..."

since feeling is first
who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;

wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world

my blood approves,
and kisses are a better fate
than wisdom
lady i swear by all flowers. Don't cry
- the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids' flutter which says

we are for each other; then
laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life's not a paragraph

And death i think is no parenthesis

this is awesome ... i love this poem. I think i am getting addicted to blogging. this is my first day and i have already posted 3 times .. lets see if this rate continues.
